STUDENT DRESS CODE

School Year 2022-2023

The following guidelines for students dress are meant to encourage a positive climate for learning and to minimize distractions:

• No hats or head coverings are to be worn unless they are for religious purposes.
• All hats must be stored on or in the students’ desks.
• All shorts and skirts are to be no more than two (2) inches above the knee
• No mini-skirts with leggings are allowed
• Tops with spaghetti straps are not allowed
• No sleeveless shirts are allowed for boys
• No. tight fitting clothes are to be worn. All outfits should be appropriate for the school setting
• All shirts and blouses are to be long enough so that midriffs are covered
• No shirts with inappropriate words or slogans are to be worn
• All boys must have belts or pants that remain at waist level
• No ripped or torn jeans or jeans with holes
