P.12X: SOAR WITH THE EAGLES!
P12X is dedicated to promoting academic achievement by creating a teaching and learning environment that recognizes the unique social, emotional and intellectual needs of young adolescents. P12X – The Eagles Academy for Exceptional Students has a strong philosophical foundation that has helped to create a student/parent/staff friendly environment. The cornerstones of this nurturing atmosphere are rooted in developing:
- a community of learners;
- building leadership capacity within the school and the community;
- embracing a collegial environment that values working together and sharing;
- and creating a school of philosophers.
We are committed to teaching our students how to best function in a society that values leadership skills, clarity of purpose, human interdependence, and respect for others. We value cooperative efforts between students, parents and teachers. Good interpersonal relations are based on sensitivity and trust. We believe in working as a team — students, parents, staff and community — in our efforts to meet the educational needs of our students.
