At P12X, we proudly serve a diverse population of students with moderate to severe autism, intellectual, and multiple disabilities. Here at the main site, our safe and therapeutic school environment features 30 active classrooms with student-to-teacher ratios of 6:1:1, 8:1:1, and 12:1:1.
As a transition-based school, our primary objective is to expose our students to a wide range of post-secondary opportunities. We achieve this through partnerships with community stakeholders such as Food Streams, Edible Schoolyard, City Harvest, and Sharing Excess. These collaborations allow our students to learn about food education, food insecurities, and food rescue.
Additionally, we offer skill-building opportunities in areas like hair braiding with Braids by Flo, pet grooming, and EKG certification. Both students and parents can benefit from our EMS certification programs. On-site vocational programs include our school-based print shop, culinary class, and PACE lab. We also provide GED preparation for both students and parents.
At P12X, safety is paramount. Our mission is to prepare our students for the real world, ensuring they are ready for life after aging out of our program.
