ALTERNATE ASSESSMENT

PS 12X - Lewis and Clark School is a District 75 school providing educational, vocational, and behavior support programs for students who are on the autism spectrum, have significant cognitive delays, are severely emotionally challenged, sensory impaired and/or have multiple disabilities. The Lewis and Clark School located at 2555 Tratman Avenue, Bronx, NY 10461 is one of among fifty six school organizations, home and hospital instruction and vision and hearing services in District 75. Our school provides services in either a school or hospital setting all within the Bronx.

Alternate Assessment refers to non-standardized testing. In developing a comprehensive assessment profile of students, District 75 staff employ a variety of assessment tools and strategies including:
